Tax credit integration of IT in SMEs
Eligible Activity Areas
Eligible companies must carry out at least 50% of their activities in one of these sectors:
- Primary sector,
- Retail business.
Eligible Management Software
A qualifying IT integration contract must be a written agreement that includes a diagnosis (or preliminary analysis) and the provision of a qualifying ERP, namely:
- An ERP (integrated management software package),
- A CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software),
- A SCM (Supply Chain Management Software).
The company must obtain a pre-qualification certificate from Investissement Québec for an eligible IT integration contract in respect of the supply of a qualifying business software package.
This is a refundable tax credit (a check or reduction in taxes) equal to 20% of eligible expenses related to an accepted IT integration contract. The total amount of this credit is limited to $ 50,000 for the term of the credit.
